ByrneWallace chief appointed to Ibec national council
ByrneWallace LLP managing partner Feargal Brenan has been appointed to the national council of Ibec, Ireland’s largest lobby and business representative group.
Described as the “unifying voice for Ibec’s membership”, the national council is made up of more than 100 senior leaders representing businesses of all sizes and all industry sectors.
Meeting at least four times a year, the national council is the final decision maker for all matters within the authority of Ibec; approves Ibec policy positions on issues that are important to business; and provides a forum for the exchange of views between the constituent members and groupings of Ibec on relevant policy, sectoral and organisational issues.
Mr Brennan has served as managing partner of ByrneWallace since 2018 and has led the firm’s corporate division since 2011.
He has over 25 years’ experience advising leading Irish and international businesses across a wide range of corporate matters, and has particular expertise in advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions.
