ByrneWallace to sponsor software awards for second year
ByrneWallace has announced it will sponsor the Annual Irish Software Awards - now in its 25th year - for the second year in a row.
The flagship event run by Technology Ireland, the Ibec group that represents the tech sector in Ireland, recognises and celebrates Irish software and digital companies who have achieved exceptional success, developed innovative technologies and partnerships and achieved significant sales results over the past year.
The eight award categories are:

Paul Sweetman, director of Technology Ireland, added: “These Awards are a testament not only to the successful entrepreneurship within the technology sector in Ireland, but also to the diversity of innovation among indigenous companies operating in the sector.
“Ireland is now a global powerhouse in digital technology, employing over 120,000 people in a multitude of business and technology roles, with businesses adding approximately 100 new jobs per week over the past five years.
“I am always amazed and inspired by the quality of applications to the Awards each year, particularly the new innovations and business prowess shown by our home grown companies. Applying to our Awards will place a strongly deserved spotlight on their work and potential.”
The Awards ceremony will take place in the Mansion House in Dublin on 24 November 2017 and all Irish software and digital technology companies are welcome to submit their entries by 30 September.
