Caoilfhionn Gallagher QC named assistant coroner for Cambridgeshire

Caoilfhionn Gallagher QC
London-based barrister Caoilfhionn Gallagher QC, an Irish woman who began her legal career in Dublin, has been appointed as an assistant coroner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The post is a part-time appointment and Ms Gallagher will sit for a number of days each year while maintaining her full practice at the Bar, according to Doughty Street Chambers.
Ms Gallagher, who comes from Portmarnock, studied law at University College Dublin and trained at the King’s Inns. She was appointed as a QC in 2017.
