NI: Charles Quin QC obituary

A full obituary of Northern Ireland barrister Charles Quin QC, who became a senior judge in the Caribbean, has been published by The Times.
Mr Quin, who was born in Co Down in 1950 and began his legal career by being called to The Bar of Northern Ireland in 1978, passed away last month.
He joined a law firm in the Cayman Islands in the 1980s and was appointed as a QC in 2004.
Mr Quin was appointed judge of the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands in 2008, playing an instrumental role in creating financial services and criminal divisions of the court as the financial crisis began, but announced his retirement last year following a terminal cancer diagnosis.
