Chartered Institute of Arbitrators to host free ADR Forum in Cork
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) is hosting a free ADR Forum in Cork next month on the subject of Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) arbitrations.
The event on Thursday 21 September has been organised by the CIArb Young Members Group and is open to all interested members of the public.
Bill Holohan, senior partner at Holohan Law Solicitors in Cork and Dublin, will chair the event, which will also hear from Siobhán Stack FCIArb. SC, and Dermot Flanagan FCIArb. SC.
Ms Stack SC has been a practising barrister since 1995 and became a senior counsel in 2013. She specialises in constitutional law, European law and conveyancing & property law. and has significant experience of arbitrations arising from compulsory purchase orders.
Mr Flanagan SC specialises in planning, environmental, and public infrastructure law. He has presented on behalf of public authorities a large number of public infrastructure consent projects before An Bord Pleanála since the Board took over the jurisdiction under CPO/EIA.
