NI: Cleaver Fulton Rankin ‘Euros’ 5-A-Side Football Tournament raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Belfast solicitors Cleaver Fulton Rankin have participated in a 5-A-side football tournament to raise money for cancer charity, Macmillan.
The CFR ‘Euros’ 5-A-Side tournament, held at the Civil Service Sports Complex, Stormont, marks the end of a summer of European football.
Cleaver Fulton Rankin employees, clients and various organisations from across the country came together to show off their football playing ability and raise money for Cleaver Fulton Rankin’s Charity of the Year.
Thirty teams signed up to take part and were assigned countries taking part in the Euros (plus a few extra). Despite the rain the afternoon was a success with over £1300.00 raised.
Macmillan Cancer Support provides help, support and information to people affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Cleaver Fulton Rankin solicitor, Peter Lockhart who organised the event, said: “We are proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support as our Charity of the Year. It is an incredibly worthy charity which seeks to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer and we are delighted that events such as this can contribute towards funding the important work they do.
“Thank you to all who took part and to the Civil Service Sports Complex and Playball, Stormont for hosting us.”
