Northern Ireland commercial law firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin has expanded its employment and immigration team with the appointment of associate director George Kilpatrick and trainee solicitor Ashleigh Wilson.

Mr Kilpatrick has over 30 years’ experience as a solicitor and a wealth of experience in employment law. He has specialist expertise in discrimination law, particularly disability discrimination, having previously been deputy legal director for disability at the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

He is highly experienced in advising clients across the public and private sectors on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

Ms Wilson, who is due to qualify into the department in September 2024, has over five years’ experience in employment law, having worked as an employment paralegal before commencing her training contract in 2022.

Michael Black, head of employment and immigration at Cleaver Fulton Rankin, said: “We are delighted to welcome George and Ashleigh to our employment and immigration team.

“With a team of six, offering multi-level support with complex employment and business immigration matters, we have strengthened our ability to deliver market-leading legal advice to our clients across NI, GB, ROI and further afield.”
