Northern Ireland firm Cleaver Fulton Rankin has been awarded the Silver Diversity Mark Accreditation by Diversity Mark.

Diversity Mark is the awarding body of the Diversity Mark Accreditation, a ‘mark of progress’ awarded to organisations committed to building a culture of diversity and inclusion within their workplace.

The Silver Diversity Mark is awarded to organisations who have implemented a clear strategy and plan for action to enhance diversity and inclusion across at least three key areas of focus.

The firm was awarded the accreditation following an independent assessment, having set five ambitious targets across four core areas of focus including gender diversity, mental health, LGBTQIA+ and age inclusion.

The targets were developed by the firm’s diversity and inclusion committee and informed by engagement and feedback received from team members across the organisation.

Cleaver Fulton Rankin was previously awarded the Bronze Diversity Mark Accreditation in 2021.

Rebecca Russell, HR manager at Cleaver Fulton Rankin, said: “We are proud to have achieved recognition as a Silver Diversity Mark accredited organisation.

“Our achievement of the accreditation is down to the combined effort of our diversity and inclusion committee, our senior management team and participation across the firm in developing an ambitious strategy and five key targets.

“While we celebrate this significant achievement, we are excited to begin implementing new programmes and initiatives.

“We understand that participation across the organisation is key, including the involvement of senior leadership, and are proud to have many of our directors actively involved in our initiatives.

“As we continue to evolve, feedback from our team will be essential in measuring success and areas for improvement.

“We look forward to implementing our plans to drive progress as we strive to become the most welcoming and inclusive company we can be.”

Christine White, director of Diversity Mark, added: “Congratulations to Cleaver Fulton Rankin on achieving the Silver Diversity Mark accreditation.

“This significant milestone reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.

“Their dedication to advancing gender diversity, mental health awareness, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and age diversity sets a commendable example for the legal sector and beyond.

“We at Diversity Mark are proud to support Cleaver Fulton Rankin on their ongoing journey towards greater inclusivity.”
