Cork courthouse to be completed by December
Construction of Cork’s new courthouse is on track to be completed by December, the Courts Service of Ireland has confirmed.
It is one of four new courthouses being delivered under the €135 million public-private partnership deal struck in late 2015.
BAM will maintain the building for 25 years.
Once open, the new six-courtroom complex with custody facilities and court offices will handle District and Circuit Court cases for Co Cork.
The project also includes a revamp and redevelopment of the former Cork courthouse building.
