Cork event to offer ‘fresh perspective’ on alternative dispute resolution
The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) Ireland is set to host a free forum offering a “fresh perspective” on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Cork next week.
Ms Justice Marie Baker of the Court of Appeal will chair the event, which will also hear from Eamonn Harrington of Comyn Kelleher Tobin (CKT) and Lorraine O’Sullivan SC.
Mr Harrington, fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, is a partner and head of litigation at CKT, which is sponsoring the event, as well as a respected mediator and arbitrator.
Ms O’Sullivan was called to The Bar of Ireland in 1984, to The Bar of England and Wales in 1996 and to the Inner Bar in 2008. She is a CEDR-accredited mediator as well as an experienced senior counsel and arbitrator.
Admission to the event, taking place on Wednesday 20 March 2019, 5.30pm-7pm in the Clayton Hotel, Lapps Quay, Cork is free, but registration is essential via Eventbrite.
