NI: Court business relocated after positive COVID-19 test
Court business has been temporarily relocated after an individual who was in Craigavon Courthouse yesterday tested positive for COVID-19.
The Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service (NICTS) and the Office of the Lord Chief Justice said all business in Courthouse Three had been relocated to Dungannon as a “precautionary measure”.
Moving business will allow for cleaning and disinfection of the courtroom in line with public health advice.
Contact with staff was limited, as much of the business was being conducted remotely. Social distancing measures were also in place yesterday to minimise the risk of infection.
Staff are nevertheless being advised in line with the PHA guidance. Members of the public who are required to appear in person today in Courtroom Three should contact Craigavon Court office or go to Dungannon Court.
