Court sittings disrupted by continued cold weather
The extreme cold weather is continuing to disrupt court sittings, particularly in the south of Ireland.
Some sittings set to take place today in the likes of Cashel, Co Tipperary and Newcastle West, Co Limerick have been cancelled and a number of court offices are closed.
The most up-to-date information is available from the courts.ie website and Courts Service social media channels.
The Courts Service advises that “office resources may be curtailed (particularly dependant on location) due to staff being unable to attend the office”.
“Practitioners should e-mail queries to the relevant office e-mail accounts for local information if required,” it added.
