International law firm DAC Beachcroft has appointed Yvonne Costello as a corporate partner in Dublin.

Ms Costello is dual-qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales, and will service clients in both jurisdictions, working closely with the firm’s UK-based partners.

She began her legal career in Ireland, where she worked for two years post-qualification, before joining Kerman & Co in London, where she progressed to partner.

She returned to Ireland in 2021 when Kerman & Co was acquired by US firm Armstrong Teasdale, which subsequently established a Dublin office.

Ronan McLoughlin, partner and location head of DAC Beachcroft’s Dublin office, said: “This latest senior hire in our Dublin team is another demonstration of our ambitious plans for growth based on client demand.

“We are responding to requirements and seizing market opportunities for the benefit of our clients and our firm.”

Lisa Broderick, partner and practice head of the Dublin office, added: “Yvonne’s experience and expertise perfectly complements our existing offering and bolsters our ability to offer a fully integrated, seamless service. We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Costello said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and ambitious team.

“I’m very much looking forward to working with my new colleagues in both jurisdictions and providing clients with the full benefits of advice from a local law firm with access to wider international support.”

DAC Beachcroft’s Dublin office now has 12 partners and over 95 lawyers and professional support staff.
