DCU alumni invited to mentor recent graduates
Lawyers who graduated from DCU School of Law and Government have been invited to mentor recent graduates as they plan their next career steps.
The university has appealed to alumni to register for the Graduate Law Mentorship Programme, which is entering its third year.
The seven-month programme sees recent graduates matched with more senior law graduates, including trainee solicitors, solicitors, barristers and other legal professionals, as well as those who have chosen careers outside of the law.
The objective is to provide encouragement and support for graduates in considering/planning next career steps, for instance with internship or traineeship applications, or in seeking other alternative opportunities as law graduates.
The programme is flexible in terms of time commitments, but participants are encouraged to meet at least three times (either in person or via Skype).
More information is available from the DCU website.
