Dentons commits to two-year lease on Dublin city centre offices
Global law firm Dentons has committed to a two-year lease for 4,500 sq. ft of office space in Dublin city centre.
The firm expanded into Ireland earlier this year with the appointment of two partners from William Fry and Matheson.
Dentons will occupy the second floor of Joshua House, a five-storey Grade A office building on Dawson Street in Dublin 2, providing enough space for up to 45 employees, The Irish Times reports.
The firm previously announced its Dublin office will be “fully operational” from the second quarter of 2020 and will initially focus on transactional work for clients, particularly in the financial services, real estate, energy, infrastructure and technology sectors.
Global CEO Elliott Portnoy said in January that Ireland is a “priority market for many of our clients” and its expansion was part of a strategy “to be in all of the places our clients do business, providing them with high quality lawyers who are also established leaders in their markets”.
