NI: Derry-born barrister Conall Patton takes silk
Barrister Conall Patton, who was born in Derry and practices in England and Wales, has been appointed as Queen’s Counsel.
At 38 years old, Mr Patton of One Essex Court is the youngest person to be named a QC in the 2019 competition.
He is a fluent Irish speaker, having attended Bunscoil Cholmcille in Derry before going on to study law at Cambridge University and Harvard Law School.
Mr Patton called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2004 and acts as an advocate and adviser in a broad range of commercial litigation and arbitration disputes.
