NI: Dominic Grieve to discuss human rights and Brexit at Belfast festival
Former Advocate General Dominic Grieve QC is set to discuss human rights, Brexit and the Irish border at Belfast International Arts Festival next month.
Mr Grieve served as Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland between 2010-14.
He will deliver a lecture at Ulster University on Thursday 18th October in which he will discuss the future of human rights post-Brexit.
The festival website states: “He will make the case for the UK staying fully committed to its international human rights obligations, and why this is so important for people in Northern Ireland.”
Mr Grieve’s lecture will be followed by a Q&A chaired by journalist Steven McCaffery.
