Dr Rachel Killean has joined the Queen’s University Belfast faculty as a lecturer in the School of Law.

In March, Dr Killean completed her PhD on victim participation at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.

She authored daily case reports for Irish Legal News from October 2015 until July 2016, when she was succeeded by Róise Connolly.

Speaking after starting in her new role, Dr Killean told ILN: “It has been great joining the faculty at such an exciting time, with the new building just opening next to the historic and beautiful Graduate School.”

She added: “Everyone has been very helpful as I have transitioned from student to staff, and I am looking forward to starting teaching in the coming months.”
