Dublin City University appoints first Professor of Law
Dublin City University (DCU) has announced the appointment of European law specialist Professor Federico Fabbrini to its staff.
Professor Fabbrini, who has published widely in the field of Eurpoean, comparative and international law, joins the university’s School of Law and Government as its first Professor of Law in September.
He holds a B.A. in European & Transnational Legal Studies from the University of Trento, a J.D. in International Law from the University of Bologna and Ph.D. in Law from the European University Institute.
He interned as a clerk for Justice Sabino Cassese at the Italian Constitutional Court and qualified for the bar exam in Italy.
He was previously assistant professor of European & Comparative Constitutional Law at Tilburg Law School in the Netherlands, and associate professor of European & International Law at iCourts, the Center of Excellence for International Courts at the Faculty of Law of the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
