Dublin firm Kenny Solicitors joins Eversheds Sutherland LLP
Dublin-based commercial law firm Kenny Solicitors has joined Eversheds Sutherland LLP, boosting the global law practice’s commercial litigation and real estate offerings in Ireland.
Kenny Solicitors’ team of lawyers, led by principal Graham Kenny, will become part of Eversheds Sutherland’s team in Ireland of over 300 professionals.
Mr Kenny has now become a partner in Eversheds Sutherland’s dispute resolution and litigation practice group, leading a team focusing on insolvency, restructuring, commercial litigation and real estate matters.
Before founding Kenny Solicitors, Mr Kenny worked as a commercial solicitor in one of the top five largest firms in the country and as a partner in another successful Dublin law firm.
He has represented parties in some of the largest commercial cases to ever come before the Irish courts and regularly advises domestic and international companies on commercial agreements, corporate finance and regulatory issues.
Alan Connell, managing partner of Eversheds Sutherland LLP, said: “Moving beyond the challenges of the past couple of years, and in response to the ever-increasing globalisation of the economy, joining forces with Kenny Solicitors and Graham, with an impressive depth of talent, demonstrates our confidence to continually invest where there is clear market demand, as we strive to not only meet but stay ahead of our clients’ needs.
“As the largest and most established full-service global law practice in the country, with an all-island offering, this combination of capabilities, top-quality legal expertise and a shared commercially-driven approach will enable Eversheds Sutherland LLP to continue providing excellent service to all our clients and further strengthen our existing commercial litigation practice generally, and our insolvency and restructuring practice in particular.
“I would like to wish Graham and all his team every continued success.”
Mr Kenny said: “This is a very exciting moment in time for Kenny Solicitors and we are delighted to join forces with Ireland’s only full-service international law practice.
“Just like Eversheds Sutherland LLP’s partners and solicitors, our aim has always been to work in a collaborative partnership with clients to deliver premium legal advice on time and within budget.
“As well as gaining access to a global network, we are all looking forward to continuing to support existing and new clients by working closely with our new colleagues to provide expert services.”
