Dublin Solicitors Bar Association names nominees for book awards

The Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) has named the nominees for its annual Law Book of the Year awards.

The winners will be announced at the Association’s black tie Midsummer Gala Dinner in the Conrad Hotel on Friday 23 June.

The nominees for DSBA Law Book of the Year are:

  • The Supreme Court, Ruadhán Mac Cormaic (reviewed by ILN)

  • The Politics of Judicial Selection in Ireland, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill

  • Children and Family Relationships Law in Ireland: Practice and Procedure, Dr Geoffrey Shannon

  • Keane on Company Law, 5th Edition, G Brian Hutchinson

  • Intellectual Property Law in Ireland, 4th Edition, Robert Clark, Shane Smyth, Niamh Hall

  • Medicine, Ethics and the Law, 3rd Edition, Deirdre Madden

  • The Law of Companies, 4th Edition, Thomas B Courtney
