NI: EDG hosts TAGLaw European Regional Conference
Elliott Duffy Garrett Solicitors (EDG) were delighted to host 50 lawyers from across Europe at the TAGLaw European Regional Conference in Belfast on 11 and 12 March 2016.
EDG is the sole Northern Irish member of the TAGLaw Global Law Firm Group. Founded in 1998, TAGLaw is an international alliance of high quality, independent law firms. It is one of the four largest law firm alliances in the world and has received the highest ranking of “Elite” in Chambers Global.
The weekend began with a conference dinner in the Belfast Harbour Commissioners’ Offices, after which some delegates sampled the delights of Belfast’s nightlife. Riddel Hall was the venue for an exciting programme of speakers and lively discussion including the UK referendum on its membership of the EU. This was followed by a visit to Crumlin Road Gaol. The formal part of the conference ended on Saturday evening with dinner in Malone House.
Kevin McVeigh, partner at EDG, said: “Being a member of TAGLaw means we can provide an international service to our clients. The European Regional Conference is a significant annual event which strengthens the links between the member firms and we were delighted to host a very successful 2016 Conference.”
