Edwina Hilton appointed to Young Irish Georgians committee
Solicitor Edwina Hilton has joined the committee of the Young Irish Georgians, part of the Irish Georgian Society which works to protect, preserve and promote the art and architecture of Ireland.
Ms Hilton read Law with French at Trinity College Dublin and recently qualified as a solicitor. She is an associate in the tax group at Maples and Calder (Ireland) LLP, the law firm of the Maples Group in Ireland.
In addition to her legal experience, she has undertaken studies in art history, art law and art crime with the Sotheby’s Institute of Art and is also a classically trained vocalist. She joined the Irish Georgian Society in 2019.
The YIGs are a group of early career professionals and individuals interested in our built heritage who support the mission of the Irish Georgian Society.
Originally established as a working group by Zoë Coleman and Roisin Lambe in 2016, YIG recently became a formal committee within the IGS.
The four committee members are Ms Coleman, Ms Hilton, John Geraghty and Cathal Dowd Smith.
