Eversheds expedites plans to expand consultancy arm into Ireland
Eversheds Consulting has expedited plans to expand into Ireland following the UK’s vote to leave the European Union.
It was reported last week that the firm had lost a pitch to a German client to a competitor because Eversheds Consulting did not have an EU presence outside Britain.
Now the existing offering from Eversheds’ consultancy arm will be supported by a new Dublin team led by litigation partner Pamela O’Neill (pictured), following on from its expansion into Asia in 2015.
The planned expansion will take place before the end of the year.
Graham Richardson, head of Eversheds Consulting, told Irish Legal News: “We have delivered projects already in Ireland for financial institutions and big PLCs and this development sees us build on the strong working relationship we already have in place with our colleagues in our Dublin office.”
Ms O’Neill added: “Eversheds Consulting is unique in its offering and we look forward to showcasing our services more broadly in the Irish market.”
