Flynn O’Driscoll hires Michael Hanley to lead banking and finance team
Flynn O’Driscoll has appointed Michael Hanley as a partner and head of a new banking and finance department.
The newly-established department will support the firm’s corporate M&A teams in delivering an integrated business and financial service to clients.
Mr Hanley joins the firm from Hayes solicitors, where he led the banking and financial services department.
Danny Heffernan, also previously with Hayes, is also joining Flynn O’Driscoll as an associate in the new team. He will work with Mr Hanley on a wide range of transactional mandates, with a particular focus on acquisition and real estate finance.
James Duggan, managing partner at Flynn O’Driscoll, said: “The establishment of a new banking and finance department is an exciting development for the firm.
“Both Michael and Danny bring with them substantial experience. They will work closely with the firm’s corporate teams and provide an integrated market leading offering to existing clients, banks and alternative lenders, further developing our full-service strategy.”
Mr Hanley added: “Flynn O’Driscoll is a corporate law firm in growth mode with an excellent reputation and track record in the market.
“The addition of a dedicated banking and finance division will further bolster the firm’s offering and support the delivery of top-level solutions to its existing and growing client base.”
