Total Produce plc has announced the appointment of lawyer Michael Meghen to its Board as a non-executive director from July 2018.

The 63-year-old retired senior corporate lawyer spent his career as a partner in Arthur Cox.

Mr Meghen possesses significant knowledge and experience in all aspects of company law and practice with a particular expertise in mergers & acquisitions, having advised Total Produce in the past.

Commenting on this appointment, Total Produce chairman Carl McCann said: “We are very pleased that Michael is joining the Board. Michael is a highly respected and skilled lawyer. His in-depth experience of mergers and acquisitions and foreign investments are very relevant as the business continues to expand.
