Meanwhile, three colleagues have been promoted to of counsel, seven associates have been promoted to senior associate, and six solicitors have been promoted to associate.

He has also provided counsel on insolvency matters and has represented clients in debt recovery and enforcement. He has also acted for financial institutions in the appointment of receivers and assisted multiple companies through MVL/CVL procedures.

Ms Cassidy specialises in distressed property sales and all aspects of commercial property law. She plays a key role in supporting the real estate components of corporate and banking transactions.

Her advice spans the acquisition, disposal, and management of both Northern Ireland and UK properties, negotiating complex real estate agreements, as well as commercial leases for office, retail, leisure, and hotel properties. She also has extensive experience in restructuring and refinancing property assets.

Ms O’Doherty focuses on energy and infrastructure projects, with particular expertise in the development, construction, and M&A (including joint ventures and investments) of renewable energy assets, digital infrastructure, and transport projects.

She offers guidance on public-private partnerships (PPPs), concessions, and similar structures, advising developers, owners, investors, and funders on the construction, financing, acquisition, and sale of wind, solar, battery storage, and gas projects.

Ms Maguire brings significant experience advising both public and private sector clients on a wide range of legal and contractual matters within construction and procurement law.

She has expertise in various forms of construction and engineering contracts, such as JCT, FIDIC, NEC, and RIAI, and also handles collateral warranties and joint venture agreements for real estate developments.

She has also worked extensively on commercial contracts, including the drafting and negotiation of agreements for the supply of goods and services, such as IT and healthcare products.

The three new of counsels are Aoife Uí Mhaoilmhichíl in the real estate team, Liam Boyle in company secretarial and Sophie Dudley in corporate.

The seven new senior associates are Alison McSherry in real estate, Amritha Kumar and Vanessa Lawlor in corporate, Daniel Jackson in IP, technology and data protection, Pamela Brennan in tax, and Philip Reynor and Thomas Costello in dispute resolution and litigation.

Ciaran Murdock, Daire O’Herlihy and Eoghan Flynn in the dispute resolution and litigation team and Gillian Blanche, Sarah McKaigue, and Sean Canavan in the real estate team have all been promoted from solicitor to associate.

Alan Connell, managing partner of Eversheds Sutherland LLP, said: “Investing in our people and our practice offerings has always been a key component of our continued success.

“These promotions across the firm represent the hard work, commitment to service excellence, and dedication of these talented colleagues.

“I am delighted to announce our new partner appointments and the strengthening of our expertise with these promotions across our practice areas. We wish them all the best in their new roles.”
