Two legal assistants at Francis Hanna & Co. are set to zipline across the River Lagan to raise cash for a cancer charity.

Phill Shields and Aine McMahon are fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support following the death of two lawyers from cancer at the Belfast-based firm since Christmas 2016.

Writing on GoFundMe, Mr Shields said he was aiming to raise at least £200 in memory of colleagues Gerry Daly and Pauline Meleady.

Mr Shields also said he would be dressing up for the event, and invited donors to suggest costumes, with his outfit on the day to be determined by a random draw from the pooled suggestions.

The zipline challenge will take place on 19 August 2017.
