Fugitive ex-solicitor Michael Lynn to be extradited

Fugitive ex-solicitor Michael Lynn could be extradited from Brazil within weeks after exhausting his appeals, the Irish Independent reports.
Mr Lynn faces 33 charges in the High Court in Dublin relating to an alleged €80 million mortgage fraud.
He fled to Brazil in 2007 and was arrested in 2013 by Brazil’s Federal Police, acting on behalf of Interpol.
Brazil’s Foreign Ministry is now negotiating his extradition from Pernambuco to Dublin with the relevant Irish authorities.
