Gardaí investigating petrol bomb attack against Dundalk law firm
Gardaí are investigating an petrol bomb attack against solicitor firm MacGuill & Company.
A petrol bomb is believed to have been thrown through the window of the firm’s Dundalk office, and caused some damage to the building.
The attack triggered an alarm and summoned the fire service.
James MacGuill, managing partner at the firm, told the Irish Independent: “It appears to be a vandalism incident. It is being investigated by the guards and the fire service. None of our work has been interrupted as as a result of this.”
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: “Gardaí and Dundalk Fire services attended an incident of criminal damage by fire at a commercial premises at Seatown, Dundalk. (office block). The incident occurred on the 29th Sept 2017 at approximately 11.15pm.
“No injuries were reported, no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
