Geraldine Clarke re-appointed to chair Property Services Regulatory Authority

Six people, including three practising solicitors, have been appointed to the Property Services Regulatory Authority.
Geraldine Clarke, solicitor and senior partner in litigation and employment at Gleeson McGrath Baldwin Solicitors, has been appointed to chair the authority for a second four-year term.
Ms Clarke is a former president of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association (DSBA) and the Law Society of Ireland with extensive regulatory experience.
The other five members appointed to the Authority are:
Hilary Griffey, solicitor with a recent MBA and corporate governance qualifications and extensive experience in legal, regulatory, commercial and business affairs.
Dr Aideen Hayden, solicitor and housing policy analyst with experience of consumer affairs, business and finance. Member of the Irish Senate 2011-2016.
Dr Maurice Keady, chief executive of the National Milk Agency and former solicitor with expertise in contract law, property law and administrative law. Dr Keady holds a Doctorate in Governance from Queen’s University Belfast.
Edward Carey, managing director of the property team at Carey Auctioneers with over 25 years’ experience in property.
Paul Mooney, director and co-founder of Benchmark Property Consultants Ltd.
Mr Carey and Mr Mooney are both serving their second term.
