Gerry Dunne

Mr Dunne’s appointment follows the dissolution of O’Brien Dunne Solicitors at the end of March, where he had been a founding partner for 20 years.

Prior to establishing the practice in 2002, Mr Dunne worked for over 10 years in the legal department of Zurich Insurance. He qualified as a solicitor in 1988.

He brings with him a wealth of experience, particularly in personal injury and general litigation, having worked for over 30 years in these areas between the insurance industry and private practice. His expertise also includes employment law, contract disputes and inquests.

Outside of his legal work, Mr Dunne serves on the board of Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club, where he is a long-time member. He is also a former board member of Athletics Ireland and his children’s Gaelscoil.
