Head of Maynooth Law Department addresses Málaga symposium
Professor Michael Doherty, head of Maynooth University Department of Law, addressed a symposium on labour law in Málaga.
Professor Doherty was invited to speak on “The Collaborative Economy and Decent Work: What Role for the Social Partners?” at the special symposium hosted by University of Málaga’s Department of Labour Law and Social Security earlier this month.
The successful event was also attended by scholars from Brazil, Portugal, Bulgaria, Poland, the UK, and Spain.
Professor Doherty addressed a similar symposium in Málaga in 2016. His article, arising from the 2016 workshop, was published in Spanish in the online journal Relaciones Laborales y Derecho del Empleo.
At Maynooth, he lectures courses to all first-year law students on introduction to law, as well as employment law to BCL/LLB students.
