Hibernian Law Journal calls for Volume 24 submissions
The Hibernian Law Journal is now accepting submissions to be considered for publication in Volume 24.
Established in 1999, the Hibernian Law Journal is a legal journal co-ordinated by trainee and qualified solicitors. Dr Jonathan O’Rourke, a trainee solicitor with VP McMullin LLP, was recently appointed as editor-in-chief for Volume 24.
The Journal now welcomes article submissions of between 5,000 and 15,000 words on any topic of Irish law. Articles relating to European and international law are considered provided that they are relevant in an Irish context.
The Journal also welcomes case notes on significant decisions by Irish or European courts from the past year.
An annual prize, chosen by the Journal’s judge-in-residence, is awarded for the best article.
Article submissions should be sent to editor@hibernianlawjournal.com by Monday 24 February 2025.
The separate deadline for case notes is Monday 10 March 2025.
The Journal is kindly supported by sponsor firms Mason Hayes & Curran LLP, Matheson LLP, McCann Fitzgerald LLP and William Fry LLP.
