Hogan Lovells launches Dublin office
Global law firm Hogan Lovells has expanded into the Irish legal market with the opening of an office in Dublin which will initially focus on financial regulatory and antitrust/competition law advice.
London partner Christopher Hutton has relocated to Dublin to take up the role of managing partner of the new office, currently based at Fitzwilliam Hall in Dublin 2.
He will be joined by relevant competition and regulatory lawyers, in particular from the firm’s UK competition and regulatory practice.
Mr Hutton said: “Putting clients at the centre of everything we do is a strategic priority for the firm, and having a presence in Dublin is about doing just that.
“Hogan Lovells opening an office there is welcomed by our existing clients, and also presents new opportunities. I am excited to head up the firm’s new offering in Ireland.”
The firm said Dublin is a “strategic gateway to the EU and rest of the world” and the new office “complements our global network and our reputation for financial services, insurance, life sciences, and technology”.
