Holohan Law named best ADR firm of the year
Cork-based Holohan Law has been named Alternate Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year by Lawyers Worldwide magazine.
Bill Holohan, senior partner of the firm, told Irish Legal News he was “honoured and delighted” by the award.
Mr Holohan is chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Ireland, as well as a member of the Council of the Mediators’ Institute and the Law Society’s ADR committee.
The lawyer said he regarded the award as recognition not just of his work as an accredited mediator, but of a lot of work undertaken to promote awareness of mediation.
Holohan has recently delivered CPD seminars on mediation, including the Mediation Act and new Court Rules, to colleagues in Tullamore, Naas, Cork and Tipperary, and will soon be speaking in Carlow, Clonakilty Co Cork, Ennis, Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford, and Sligo.
He is also due to address judges at the Four Courts on 17 April.
