HOMS Solicitors awards UL scholarship to Ciara Murphy
The HOMS Solicitors University of Limerick scholarship prize has been awarded to student Ciara Murphy.
Ms Murphy is a law and accounting student who excelled in her field, obtaining the highest marks in her year.
She was presented with the winning funds at a ceremony in the firm’s Limerick office by John Moran, director of the European Investment Bank and former secretary general of the Department of Finance.
The ceremony was also attended by Mr Justice Donald Binchy and Ms Justice Eileen Creedon, Senator Kieran O’Donnell, and Sinead Eaton and Professor Ray Frield from the School of Law faculty.
Commenting on her win, Donal Creaton, partner at HOMS Solicitors, said: “We continue to be delighted to sponsor this annual prize in conjunction with the Law School at the University of Limerick.
“We wish Ciara every success in her career. She is a most worthy winner and a great tribute to her parents Cynthia and Paul.”
