HOMS Solicitors support Pieta House charity cycles
Staff in the Limerick office of HOMS Solicitors have again supported suicide and self-harm charity Pieta House in their Pieta 100 Cycle.
Volunteers from the firm manned refreshment stations along the various cycle routes. Sarah Falvey, Mark Culhane and John Ringrose assisted in Cork; Robert Bourke, Maria Gleeson, Michelle Thompson and Siobháin Phayer assisted in Trim; and Rachael Shaughnessy and Nicola Hackett assisted in Limerick.
HOMS staff were also pleased to take souvenir photographs for participants and send them on to them after the event.
Janka O’Higgins, legal secretary at the firm, completed the 50-kilometre route along with her husband Ronan O’Higgins.
Mrs O’Higgins said: “Despite the rain we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere on the road and at the refreshment stops was amazing and we will definitely do it again. I would like to thank the organisers and all the volunteers for their good work and support.”
HOMS partner Robert Bourke said: “Pieta House is a great charity and we at HOMS Solicitors were delighted to be able to help out at the 100k Pieta Cycle refreshment stations in Cork, Limerick (Newcastle West) and Trim, Co Meath. It was great to meet all the participants, revive them and see them off for their next 50K.”
