NI: Horwich Farrelly chairman wins insurance award

The chairman of specialist insurance industry law firm Horwich Farrelly, which recently opened an office in Belfast, has been recognised for his contribution to the industry.
John O’Roarke took home the Outstanding Contribution Award at the British Insurance Awards, hosted by Insurance POST.
Mr O’Roarke is based in the firm’s Manchester headquarters and is also a non-executive director for Aviva.
Commenting on the award, he said: “I am thrilled, and somewhat overwhelmed, to have won this prestigious industry award.
“I am lucky to have had an exciting and challenging career so far, working with some inspirational individuals, and having had the opportunity to improve the industry. It has been highly rewarding, and to be recognised in this way is a true honour.
“The national recognition is also a boost for Horwich Farrelly.”
