ILN welcomes writer to editorial team
Irish Legal News welcomes Róise Connolly to the team today.
Róise is a PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast; her research is on the interplay between human rights and intellectual property rights, specifically focusing on how the right to health can be compromised by the patenting of diagnostic methods. Róise holds an LL.B in Law from Queen’s, and an LL.M in Law, Medicine and Healthcare from the University of Liverpool.
Besides her interests in everything legal, Róise plays Irish traditional music. Having played the Concertina for nearly 20 years, she is learning to play the wire-strung Downhill Harp, and has a new appreciation for instruments that don’t require the tuning of over 40 strings!
