#InPictures: A&L Goodbody hosts corporate crime and regulation summit

Over 500 corporate counsel, risk and compliance professionals, executives and directors across a range of business sectors from corporate Ireland attended A&L Goodbody’s annual Corporate Crime and Regulation Summit this morning in Croke Park.

Held annually since 2019, each year the summit brings together leading experts, regulators, law enforcement officials and business leaders to discuss key issues and new developments in corporate crime and regulation.

This year’s speakers included Frank Cassidy, former head of legal at the Criminal Assets Bureau; Sinéad Goss, international head of financial crime legal at Citi; Maya Lester, barrister a Brick Court Chambers; Nicholas Querée, senior counsel with Slaughter & May; Nina Hart, lecturer and PhD candidate at King’s College London; and Louise Engel, senior investigations counsel at Ericsson.

The 2024 Summit was shaped based on input from A&L Goodbody’s clients and wider network and included sessions on regulatory risk; cross-border investigations; criminal and regulatory investigations; competition law; sanctions compliance; and regulatory information requests.
