The Bar of Northern Ireland’s charity committee organised a dog-friendly family fun day at Belfast Harlequins RFC to raise funds for charity partner Brain Injury Matters NI.

There was a great turnout for the many activities on offer including bouncy castles, face painting, treasure hunts — and the opportunity to meet characters from Disney’s Star Wars.

Four-legged friends weren’t left out and enjoyed a group dog walk and a mini-Crufts competition. Following all the fun and games, everyone was treated to a BBQ feast and ice cream.

Charity committee chair Mark Conlon said: “We are delighted that so many members and their families took time out of their Saturday came along and show their support for this very worthy cause.

“The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all and thankfully the rain stayed off.”

This was the charity committee’s third event in support of Brain Injury Matters NI and planning for autumn events is already underway.
