The charity provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm.

The funds were raised throughout the year by CKT employees and management through various CSR activities including bake sales, a book swap, casual dress Friday and participation in the FeelGood with Pieta and Darkness into Light campaigns.

Speaking at the presentation at CKT’s Cork office, Darran Coyle Garde, funding and advocacy at Pieta House, said the monies raised will allow one person to fully avail of the services that Pieta House have on offer.

The cheque was presented to Mr Garde by CKT CSR committee members Adele Fitzgerald, Ann Marie Callanan, Emma Comyn and Sarah Kelleher.
