#InPictures: Solicitors warmly welcomed to Southern Law Association’s annual dinner
Cork solicitors and friends were welcomed to the Maryborough Hotel last week for the Southern Law Association’s annual dinner.
Emma Meagher Neville, who was recently elected president of the Southern Law Association, told Irish Legal News: “It is a career highlight for me to be president. We had a wonderful night catching up with our colleagues and friends from Cork and around the country.
“I used my speech as another opportunity to emphasise the importance of bringing the younger members and trainees into the fold within the SLA and for further engagement with UCC students in Cork in order to retain talent in our city and county, which is vital for continued prosperity and growth.”
Ms Neville thanked guests and members for attending and supporting the dinner, paying tribute to Robert Baker and his dinner committee and Fiona Twomey for her years of service organising the dinner.
