#InPictures: University of Limerick facilitates Street Law training for Kerry youth workers

University of Limerick School of Law has facilitated Street Law training for a group of youth justice workers based in the Kerry Garda Youth Diversion Project.
Street Law aims to teach law at a grassroots level with a learner-centred process that encourages young people to develop their capacity for democratic decision-making, communication and teamwork skills, while educating them about the legal system and their rights.
The training session was co-ordinated by Dr Lydia Bracken, who delivered the training alongside John Lunney of the Law Society of Ireland and Bronagh Heverin and Siobhan Cullen of Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
