IP firm HGF expands Dublin and Belfast presence
Intellectual property specialist firm HGF has announced the relocation of its Dublin office and the opening of a new office in Belfast.
Craig Thomson, a partner and patent attorney in the firm, is leading both offices, supported in Dublin by patent director Marie Walsh.
HGF is a full-service IP firm bringing together over 200 patent attorneys, trade mark attorneys, design attorneys, IP solicitors and attorneys-at-law across two dozen offices in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
The relocation of the Dublin office to Ireland’s largest global entrepreneurial superhub, the Guinness Enterprise Centre, forms part of a strategic business plan aimed at encouraging new business opportunities.
Mr Thomson said: “We are delighted to move our team in Dublin to work alongside the vibrant Health Cluster at the Guinness Enterprise Centre, where our values align well with the teamwork and innovation energy of the GEC.
“As always, our aim is to create real impact for our clients through our team’s focus on providing commercially relevant and integrated intellectual property advice.”
The new Belfast office will be part of the dynamic workspace Catalyst in the Titanic Quarter on Queens Road.
Mr Thomson said: “We are delighted to be moving our established Belfast-based team into the Catalyst in the Titanic quarter, and creating this as a hub for supporting our clients both in Belfast and across Northern Ireland.”
