Irish lawyers recognised in dispute resolution awards

Irish lawyers have won recognition at the Acquisition International Dispute Resolution Awards 2016.

Dublin barrister Arran Dowling-Hussey was named Best for Dispute Resolution and David Nolan was named Mediator of the Year.

Yesterday, we reported that Limerick-based PG McMahon Solicitors had claimed the title of Litigation Lawyer of the Year.

Mr Dowling-Hussey told Irish Legal News: “I’m pleased to have received this award and note the recognition also given to McMahon Solicitors and David Nolan SC who won in other categories.”

Jonathan Hicks, Acquisition International co-ordinator, said the awards “highlight the hard work and dedication undertaken by expert litigators, lawyers, arbitrators and everyone in between who is involved in resolving disputes”.

He added: “I am exceptionally proud to turn the spotlight on our deserving winners and wish them every success in the future.”
