Irish Rule of Law International to host fundraising dinner

The non-profit sends volunteer lawyers to Malawi to address the issue of prison overcrowding and illegal detention by providing direct legal assistance as well as building capacity in the criminal justice sector.

The “Malawi by the Sea” dinner is IRLI’s main annual fundraiser for the Malawi programme. Returned volunteers will be among speakers at the event.

It takes place in the National Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire, on Friday 24 June at 7pm.
