Mr McGarrity qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland in May 1996 and previously worked in Omagh firm McGale Kelly Solicitors.

He passed away last Thursday 9 February after what police described as a one-vehicle road traffic collision in the Killyclogher Road area.

Mr McGarrity’s funeral took place at St Mary’s Church, Dunnamore, Co Tyrone on Sunday.

The Law Society of Northern Ireland said it “offers its deepest condolences to his family, colleagues and friends”.
