John Larkin elected as chairman of William Fry
William Fry has announced the election of John Larkin as chairman of the firm.
He takes over from Alvin Price, who has been the firm’s chairman since 2009.

Bryan Bourke, managing partner at William Fry, said: “I’m delighted to announce John’s appointment as Chairman of William Fry and I look forward to working closely with him. I have no doubt that he will bring the same drive, energy and leadership to his new role that makes him such a successful insurance lawyer.
“On behalf of all at William Fry, I would like to thank and pay tribute to Alvin Price for his immense contribution as Chairman. Although Alvin is stepping down as Chairman, we’re delighted that he will remain as a senior member of the team.”
Mr Larkin said: “It is a privilege to have been elected as Chairman of William Fry. It is a firm of great people whose commitment to our clients I witness on a daily basis.”
He added: “I look forward to supporting Bryan and our Executive Committee to continue to harness our skills and sectoral expertise for the benefit of our clients.
“Alvin Price has been an outstanding Chairman and I am fortunate to have his guidance as I settle into my new role.”
